Privacy Policy

Hi! My name is Anders Eidesvik and I run this website alone. Since I personally don't like being tracked online, I use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly solution that doesn't use cookies or store personal data.

What I collect

Only anonymous statistics about:

  • Number of visitors and which articles are read
  • Whether people use mobile or desktop
  • Which country visitors come from (general)
  • Traffic sources (Google, LinkedIn, etc.)

I do NOT collect: names, email addresses, IP addresses, cookies, or anything that can identify you as a person.

Read counter

Each article has an anonymous read counter showing how many times it has been read. This counter only tracks the number of page views per article — no information about you as a reader is stored or linked to the count.

Third-party content

Some articles may contain embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo) or social media posts (X/Twitter). When such content is displayed, these services may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies. This only happens on articles that actually contain such embeds — most articles have none.

Why?

As a writer, it's motivating to see whether people actually read what I write, and which AI topics engage the most. This helps me write about what you care about.

Questions

Since it's only anonymous statistics, I have no personal data to provide access to or delete. If you have questions, contact me at anders.eidesvik@gmail.com.
