Welcome to KI-nytt. This is primarily a site about artificial intelligence and how it is shaping our society. Now and then I write about other things.

My background is in journalism. I have worked at Klassekampen, Dagens Næringsliv and NRK's Debatten. In 2022 I interned with Norway's UN Mission in New York for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2025–2026 I did a master's in journalism at Stanford with support from the Aker Scholarship. There I covered, among other things, how self-driving cars are safer than human drivers, how hard it is to regulate AI, and why some people choose to go on hunger strike to stop AGI.

I now work as an AI adviser at the think tank Langsikt (where I also worked in 2024–2025). My job is to help Norway get a sensible AI policy. You can read more about our proposals here.

Alongside my job at Langsikt I have also taken up vibe-coding. Among other things I have built Hvastemmerde.no, an overview of how often the parties in the Storting vote together. I have also made an overview of every self-driving Waymo crash. And not least the arcade game Rebel Rooster.

I also do photography.
